Defend Against Risky Behavior to Avoid Pregnancy

The Page of Pentacles could represent a child or an adolescent who is an Earth sign; a Virgo, Taurus or Capricorn directly affecting the current situation today. It can be a child of either sex who is patient, studious, skillfull and goal-oriented. On the other hand, all of the Pages are messengers who take risks in order to deliver their message. The 9 of Wands displays a character who is battle-hardened, wary and defensive. He’s experienced, guarded and is expecting to do battle at any moment. The Empress is the archetype of Motherhood. She’s creative, productive, nurturing, sensual and affectionate. The Empress is also fertile and her appearance in a spread can signal a pregnancy.

Perhaps that’s the message our Page of Pentacles wants to risk delivering, but the 9 of Wands is cautious and this can go either way in my opinion. It’s either cautious about celebrating this good news before it’s confirmed or it’s apprehension and defense against getting pregnant in the first place. If the Page represents a child that you’re dealing with today in your role as Mother or guardian, be warned that this Page can be stubborn and bull-headed about getting their own way and you’ll have to have your defenses up to avoid spoiling the child by being too affectionate. If the Page is you today, be aware that you’re being advised that it’s best to defend your choice to take creative risks. Or, defend yourself from risky behavior to avoid pregnancy.
