The High Priestess is the card of listening to your own inner wisdom. With a Moon Crescent at her feet, she sits between the black and white pillars of severity and mercy indicating that there needs to be a balance of opposites for the truth to be unveiled since the Veil of Truth is behind her and studded with female and male fertility symbols; the pomegranate and the date palm tree. She symbolizes intuition, secrets, being psychic and having access to hidden knowledge.
The next 2 cards are both reversed Knights; one from the suit of Pentacles and the other from the suit of Swords. Knights can be a young man or a young women. So, look out for Earth signs; Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus and Air signs; Aquarius, Libra or Gemini. When the Court cards are reversed it represents people who are not what they appear to be on the surface. These are people with something to hide and may be liars, thieves, and cheats. Beware of having to deal with people like this in your environment today. However, don’t worry, because the High Priestess indicates that you’ll have the intuitive awareness to spot them and be on to their games. On the other hand, if the two Knights reversed represent you and how you’re being affected today, it’s telling me that you’ve lost your outer focus on taking action and thinking clearly. Today you’re focused internally. You might be feeling tired, bored and unenthusiastic about what you think you must do. You could also be confused and not thinking clearly. Everything seems muddled as well as unappealing. By withdrawing from charging forward in the wrong direction or doing work that is getting you nowhere, perhaps it is best to indulge in some passive introspection and let your intuition be your guide today. You need to take the time to analyze what the best course of action is and when to take it.
